Start Your E-Invoicing Readiness ReviewAn electronic invoice is not simply a normal invoice converted into PDF.
Under the UAE framework, an eInvoice is structured invoice data that is issued and exchanged electronically between a supplier and buyer and reported electronically to the UAE Federal Tax Authority.
PDF invoices, Word documents, images, scanned invoices and invoices simply sent through email are not eInvoices.
The UAE system uses a Peppol-based electronic invoicing framework.
